Saudi artist Shalimar Sharbatly expressed her deep appreciation and admiration for His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed Salman Abdulaziz Al Saud, affirming that under his leadership, the Kingdom is witnessing a comprehensive and unprecedented national transformation, steadily propelling the nation toward a more prosperous and advanced future in line with the goals of Vision 2030.

She noted that the achievements realized in recent years reflect the strength of the national projects led by his royal highness, enhancing the Kingdom’s regional and international standing, improving quality of life, and expanding opportunities for development and investment.
Sharbatly also emphasized that the current phase is marked by a stronger spirit of national belonging and pride in Saudi identity, alongside heightened social and cultural dynamism. She said her late father, Mr. Hassan Abbas Sharbatly, former Minister of State and former Minister of Finance, was a model of generosity and noble character, and that he opened the door for her from an early age to become the artist she is today. She added: “He gave me the space… If he had refused, I would not have become Shalimar. His guidance was part of the formation of my personality.”
As for her mother, a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Sharbatly said she was her first teacher in life, teaching her the meaning of strength, dignity, and standing up for one’s rights since childhood.
